Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) can be a debilitating disorder associated with severe pain and disability characterized by both auto-inflammatory and autoimmune features. This publication was a case report of a patient with long-standing CRPS that had a dramatic response to a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and was able to successfully lower their prednisone dosage. Symptoms reemerged a few months later so a second course of hyperbaric therapy was prescribed.
